What We Do

EarthMojo offers Living Smart Bay Area programs, DIY workshops and events, sandboxes and professional development workshops. We connect groups with community volunteering opportunities from environmental and food justice to gardening for food production to coastal clean-ups. We also bring in guest speakers on topics ranging from zero-waste living to the current state of our changing climate.

Please scroll down for more details about some of our offerings. To stay in the loop about our upcoming events, join our mailing list. In addition to our quarterly newsletter, we send out occasional emails with dates for upcoming events and other opportunities.

We love collaborating and brainstorming; if you have something specific in mind that you don’t see on this page, please email us!

LIVING SMART BAY AREA

EarthMojo offers the 7-week Living Smart Bay Area workshop series that covers the many facets of living sustainably and how to create change on a personal, household or community level.

For more information about this course, go to the Living Smart Bay Area website or email us.

DIY WORKSHOPS

Collaborating with local organizations and sustainability hubs, we offer Do-It-Yourself workshops where you’ll make your own salves and cleaners, install a graywater system, build a raised garden bed, make your own yogurt and other foods, repurpose various discards into new and improved things, learn how to fix and maintain your bicycle, and many more!

SANDBOXES

EarthMojo also hosts smaller workshops that can supplement existing eco-curricula, Green Business or Green School initiatives, or other eco-explorations. We call these “sandboxes” because they are great opportunities to play, get dirty, and explore. These sandboxes fit nicely into a “Learn-and-lunch” or “Brown Bag” environment, as well as an after-work or after-school session.

If you’d like to schedule an EarthMojo Sandbox for your company, school or community, please contact us.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Both in schools and businesses, staff explore environmental responsibility and sustainability as half-, full- or multiple-day Professional Development workshops. These PD opportunities provide participants with hands-on activities and facilitated brainstorming and collaboration sessions to develop tools and skills, in or outside of work, towards sustainability and making real changes.

For more information about Professional Development opportunities, please email us.

CONSULTING

EarthMojo works one-on-one with schools, businesses and other organizations to support their environmental justice and sustainability goals. We can help you with Green Business or Green School certification, support your efforts to mobilize a Green Team, or aid you in other business- or community-specific goals.

We also train sustainability educators, green workshop facilitators and eco-focus teams on engaging their staff, team members and audience in environmental topics.

Please email us to start a conversation about your particular needs for your path to sustainability!
